#FreeEducation from the clutches of predatory politicians and unions

Education is the key to creating a country that is prosperous and works for all who live in it.

But in South Africa, education is failing to create the opportunities that are so vital for our children. Remember that 80% of our schools are considered to be failing and that unions continue to frustrate efforts to fix our schools.

The IRR will be putting pressure on the authorities in a number of ways to ensure that we can #FreeEducation from the clutches of politicians and the unions.

We have already laid a complaint against Panyaza Lesufi, the MEC for education in Gauteng at the public protector, to investigate possible wasteful expenditure and maladministration. This is only the first step in our work to build an education system that will work for all South African system.

But it is only with your support that we can help create the pressure to see a change in education in South Africa. You can read our solution to the country’s education crisis here where we argue for greater parental choice and control over schools.

If you agree fill in your details above to endorse our solution – it is only with pressure from the public can we force the government to ensure our education system changes for the better.
