17 May 2023 – In this submission to the Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development, the IRR argues that if the government is serious about ensuring and improving food security, it must withdraw the Preservation and Development of Agricultural Land Bill, and desist from tying up agriculturists in yet more reams of expensive, impractical, and damaging red tape.
