What polling results say voters really want from government policy – IRR webinar

The Institute of Race Relations (IRR) will release the second of three reports on its latest polling findings in a live webinar on Tuesday. Titled Policy Preferences of Registered Voters, the report explores public sentiment on a range of current government policies, including employment equity, procurement, welfare, and property rights.

The findings, drawn from a demographically representative national survey conducted between 27 March and 3 April 2025, offer insights into what South Africans believe would be the most effective approaches to empowerment, economic growth, and service delivery.

Author the report and IRR Head of Strategic Communications Hermann Pretorius will present the findings and answer questions during the live event.

The IRR invites all members of the public, the media, and policymakers to attend this important discussion on the direction of South African policy.
