IRR to host online webinar on latest polling on state of SA politics

Political party support is the theme of the first of three reports on the latest polling by the Institute of Race Relations (IRR), which is to be released in an online webinar next Tuesday.

This first report considers the state of South Africa’s political parties as of April 2025 in the context of recent political events, the IRR’s polling from September/October 2024, the 2024 election results, and the changes between these critical data snapshots.

The demographically representative survey, conducted from 27 March to 3 April 2025, has a 95% confidence interval and a 4% margin of error.

All political parties, members of the media, and the public are invited to attend the webinar, in which IRR Head of Strategic Communications and author of the report Hermann Pretorius will present the findings and answer questions.
