The Survey, first published in the 1940s, and released annually ever since, is a staple of South Africa’s information environment.
Predominantly a compendium of statistics, the Survey presents not only a snapshot of the country in the present, but shows numerous time data sets, allowing the reader to trace changes – progress and decline – over time. It also includes international comparisons to show how South Arica stacks up against its peers.
